The idea of Sunü Festival was born from a research collaboration I started with mindfulness researcher, Dr. Simon Guendelman at Humboldt University, where I was exploring how an app could induce non-drug induced altered states of consciousness. I took that question out of the app and into the world. I originated the concept and led the end-to-end creative production of a two-day micro-festival of art, science, and mindfulness. The event was held in a 19th-century castle on the outskirts of Berlin and brought together 125 creative leaders driving impact in Germany. My team and I curated an ecosystem of 25 facilitators, artists, and researchers whose work collectively guided participants through a festival experience. I designed the guest journey and spatial programming so that every sensory and programmatic decision moved people from ordinary experience into something they hadn't felt before. Beyond the creative vision, I secured €10,000 in brand partnerships within three months, grew ticket sales by 40% through a two-month campaign rooted in the festival's conceptual identity, and led a 30+ person team across spatial design, logistics, talent coordination, and live operations.
